Meet Pirah Rasheed A Poet, A Dreamer, An Entrepreneur

Pirah Rasheed, a determined and hardworking girl, belongs to Taluka Thul district Jacobabad has lived there ever since. From the very beginning, her life has been filled with courage, passion, and a unique vision that set her apart from others.

Pirah completed her early education in Thul, where she studied until the 12th grade. Like many students, she dreamed of entering the medical field and appeared in the pre-medical examinations twice. Unfortunately, she fell short by only a few marks. Instead of considering it a failure, she treated it as an opportunity to find a new path. For Pirah, hopelessness was never an option. She believed that courage and consistency are greater than disappointment.

After these challenges, Pirah decided to pursue higher education at Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur, in the English Department. During her university years, she did not limit herself to academics. She became an active student and was deeply engaged with literature and creative writing. Soon, she started writing poems and later moved towards writing columns and articles.

Her love for literature quickly made her stand out. She became the Vice President of the Literary Society at the university and actively contributed to magazines and literary programs. Her poetry touched on themes of society, spirituality, religion, love, and human emotions. She wrote not only in Sindhi but also in English, which gave her recognition on a wider scale. Her works were published in well-known Sindhi newspapers such as Koshish and Kawish. Over time, Pirah became one of the few young Sindhi girls whose name could even be searched on Google for literary contributions.

In 2024, Pirah completed her university education. At this point, family and society expected her to either take a government job or settle down according to traditional expectations. However, Pirah had different goals. She wanted to be financially independent and make her own way in life.

In March 2025, Pirah entered the field of digital entrepreneurship. She joined a multinational American company called Forever Living Products as an Assistant Supervisor. Her work there focused on women’s empowerment and financial independence. She believed that women could use online platforms, freelancing, and network marketing to earn from home and build confidence. This was the true beginning of her entrepreneurial journey.

Later, Pirah joined a Pakistan-based company named Growway Global. She started as a manager and then became a senior manager. These roles gave her financial strength and polished her leadership and business skills. With time, she began investing wisely and building her career step by step.

But her real dream was to launch something of her own. She wanted to create a brand that reflected her vision and determination. Soon, she decided to step into the perfume industry. Working with nearly 20 perfume-making companies, Pirah guided the process with her own ideas and strategies. Within just two days of launching her brand, she achieved 1.5 lakh rupees in sales. This made her one of the first young female entrepreneurs from Sindh, and particularly from her community, to reach such an impressive milestone.

What makes her achievement even more inspiring is that she initially did all of this without informing her family. She wanted her results to speak louder than her words. When her family eventually learned about her success, they felt proud and celebrated her achievements. For her relatives and the Nulari community, it was not just her success but also a collective moment of pride.

Of course, the journey had challenges. The most difficult obstacle Pirah faced was the patriarchal mindset of society. Like many women, she had to face unnecessary criticism, harassment, and social pressure. But instead of giving in, she managed these struggles with strength. She reminded herself that her time and energy were valuable and needed to be invested in building her dreams.

Today, Pirah Rasheed is not only an entrepreneur but also a poet, columnist, and inspiration for youth. Her journey reflects courage, determination, and self-belief. She continues to inspire young girls to stand strong, follow their dreams, and achieve independence in every way—mentally, emotionally, financially, and socially.

Her message for the youth is clear: never lose hope, no matter how difficult the circumstances are. Society may create barriers, but hard work and consistency can break them all. Pirah Rasheed’s story is proof that a girl from a small village can rise to national and even international recognition through resilience and dedication.
